On Friday, September 25, 2026, the online semester kickoff for the winter semester 2026/27 took place. Thank you to everyone who joined! We clarified organizational issues, gave an overview of the courses offered this semester and answered your questions about the study program. If you could not attend, you will find the recording and the slides here.

Save the date: the new Guided Projects for WiSe 2026/27 in the Master Digital Sciences will be presented on Wednesday, September 09, 2026 at 14:00 via Zoom.

Note: For organizational reasons, the WS26_14 project unfortunately had to be withdrawn. However, it is still included in the recorded project presentation. So please don’t be surprised if you can no longer find it in ILU - that is intentional.
Registration runs via the ILU portal at TH Köln, as in the previous semesters. The registration procedure and the deadlines will be announced in the presentation and here on this page.
The Guided Project Presentation Days for the summer semester 2026 will take place on Thursday 03.09.2026 and on Monday 07.09.2026, both in the afternoon starting at 13:00. For organizational reasons the presentations are spread over two dates.
This is a public event, all interested parties (within TH Köln and external guests) are welcome.
At the Guided Project Presentation Days, the master students of the Digital Sciences program present the results of their project work in the summer semester 2026.
The presentations are planned in a hybrid format (on site in room 0503 at Campus Gummersbach and via Zoom). It is best to bookmark this page and to follow the announcements via the ILU mailing list.

Each student must also submit one GP presentation peer review per each Guided Project he/she participated in. (I.e. you did 2 GPs => you need to submit 2 peer reviews). These peer reviews will be made available online (as ILIAS surveys) during the presentation. Projects with German titles will be presented in German, projects with English titles will be presented in English.
If you cannot attend on the date of your project, please discuss within your team how you can contribute in another way, for example by pre-recording a video or by preparing parts of the presentation that your team mates then deliver.
